Florence Cordon

BETHANY- Mrs. Florence Ann (Violette) Cordon, 71, of Bethany, died Sunday Aug. 1, 2010 at the John Dempsey Hospital at the University of Conn Health Center. She was the wife of the late Thomas G. Condon.

Mrs. Condon was born in Waterbury, August 15, 1938, a daughter of the late Frederick and Ann Violette and was educated in the Waterbury school system and was a graduate of Crosby High School. She had been a Bethany resident for the past 50 years, formerly living in Waterbury..

She leaves two sons, Thomas Cordon of Bethany and Craig Cordon of Naugatuck; one daughter, Deborah L. Amaral and her husband Mario of Naugatuck; one brother, Jack Violette and his wife Nellie of Waterbury ; one sister, Mary Rockhill and her husband Rick of Waterbury; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. on Wednesday Aug. 4th from 6 to 8 pm. A private burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury.
