CHESHIRE - Everett J. Clark, 94, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at Hospital Of Central CT At Bradley-Memorial Campus. He was the husband of Beverly (Knodel) Clark.
Mr. Clark was born November 18, 1920 in New Haven, the son of the late Jesse and the late Bertha (Bornman) Clark. He was a lifetime Cheshire resident who served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was an Equipment Operator for J. T. Furrey in Hamden for many years.
Besides his wife of 65 years, Mr. Clark is survived by his son Kenneth “Ken” Clark of Cheshire; his daughters Kathy Gagnon (Doug) of ME, Joan Walter (Lee) of Waterbury, and Barbara “Barb” Clark of Cheshire; his four grandchildren, Lee Walter, Julie McMahon, Douglas Gagnon Jr., and Russell Gagnon; as well as five great grandchildren (Samantha, Tyler, Katie, Jaime and Bryce). He was predeceased by his sister, Jeanette Domorod.
Arrangements - A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Cheshire Hillside Cemetery, 166 Wallingford Rd. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, Florida 32256 or a charity of your choice.
