MERIDEN - Eugene F. Neagle Sr., 90, passed away Sunday August 12, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Crowley) Neagle.
Mr. Neagle was born August 1, 1922 in New Haven, the son of the late George and Cecil (Christensen) Neagle. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a longtime resident of Cheshire before moving to Meriden in 2002. He was a District Manager of Met Life and was an accomplished piano player.
Mr. Neagle is survived by his son Robert of Waterbury, James and his wife Robin of Plantsville and Jonathan and his wife Candie of Windsor; his grandchildren Margaret Mary, Brendan, Colin, Molly, Patrick, Kate, Erin and Kelly; his great grandchildren Aiden, Owen and Gabriel; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Mr. Neagle is predeceased by his son Eugene Jr.
Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Friday August 17, 2012, 9:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire 615 S. Main St., to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
