Esther D. Nastri

CHESHIRE – Esther D. Nastri, 92, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Elim Park in Cheshire. She was the wife of the late Ralph A. Nastri.

Mrs. Nastri was born October 22,1930, in Waterbury, CT., daughter of the late Alphonso and Rosina (Gentile) Forlenzo. She was a retired sportswear buyer for over 30 years, for Worth’s Department Store, formerly located in downtown Waterbury. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining for friends and family and was an avid bridge player.

Mrs. Nastri leaves behind her sister, Ruth Fiore of Watertown, her nieces, Cindy Forlenzo of Cheshire, Nancy Walsh of Fulshear, TX, Rosalie Marcellini of Umbria, Italy, and Patty Robards of Pompano Beach, Florida, and her nephew, Tony Fiore of Watertown. She will also be missed by several great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Esther was predeceased by her sisters, Lena Mancini and Ann Oropallo, and her brother, Alphonse Forlenzo.
