Estella Ives Woodruff passed away peacefully at the Hamden Health Care Center on September 1,2009. She was the wife of the late David Woodruff.
Estella was born on November 11, 1912 in Cheshire, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Fannie Ives. She was a homemaker and lived in Cheshire for most of her life.
She is survived by her son David and his wife Natalie Ives of Carlisle, MA. She is survived by her grandchildren Douglas Ives and his wife Tamara, Raynham, MA; Kristin Routhier and her husband Ronald, Hudson, NH; Deborah Svenson and her husband Michael, Mansfield, MA. great grandmother of Todd and Kelsey Hirst and Kyle and Emilie Svenson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Estella's funeral service on Friday September 4, 2009 at 11:30 am at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire 615 So. Main St. Cheshire. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery.
