NAUGATUCK- With deepest sorrow, we announce that Erick J. Wilson, our beloved, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend passed away on Monday, June, 24, 2019.
Anyone who knew him, knew he would give you the shirt off his back. He was laid back and loved his family. He enjoyed going on rides long or short on his motorcycle. One could find him tinkering in his garage on one of his many bikes or on a new project or even one of the many old ones he had going on, he would usually be in there with Joe Mac and Steve. Once the day was done or he had time to spare he would most likely be hanging out at his sister’s around the large fires he would build or playing with his nephew, Chance. He loved all his family and friends immediate and extended. He always made everyone feel like they were a part of the family. Every Sunday morning he would ride with “The Dutchess County Boys.” Everyone looked forward to his annual fireworks display. He would love to hang out with his friends and sometimes reminisce with his good friend, Jeffrey C.
Erick attended Emmitt O’Brien Technical High School in Ansonia, which kicked off his automotive career. He then moved on to Baron Institute of Technology. His work family was Valley Motor Sports in Ansonia. He had just started a new venture at CT Cycles in Milford and UPS. He was an energetic and fun loving child who was always found fixing things.
He leaves behind his mother, Holly J. Wilson, a brother, Justin, and sisters, Philena and Alani, along with his beloved nephew, Chance, all of Naugatuck. Erick also leaves behind many Uncles, Aunts, and cousins. He is predeceased by his father, Albert “Al” Wilson, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brozak.
Friends and Family will be received at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St, 06770, on Friday, June 28th, from 4 to 6 pm. There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, June 29th at 479 City Hill Street, Naugatuck, CT starting at 2 pm. Come as you are as this is a real celebration of the way Erick would do it.
