Eunice Engle

Waterbury - Eunice J. (Osborn) Engle, 88, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Paradigm Healthcare of Prospect, surrounded by her loving family.
Eunice was born on September 24, 1924 in Oxford, a daughter of the late Harold Osborn and Emma (Johnson) Osborn. She was raised on her family farm in Oxford, loved the outdoors and being independent. Eunice Engle later married Thomas Engle of Middlebury, and is predeceased by him. She lived, worked, and raised her family in Prospect. She was employed by Ben Art Co. for 18 years. Eunice later retired with her husband Tom and moved to Bay Pines, FL. She worked at the VA Hospital there and later returned to the Prospect area, where she worked as a home health aid until she retired.
She is survived by two daughters Dorothy Magnavice and her husband Walter of Waterbury, Linda Hollstein and her husband Otto of Davenport, FL, one son, Roger Engle and his wife Cheryl of Montara, CA, five grandchildren, Jason Magnavice, Jennifer Magnavice, Thomas Magnavice, Gerald Buckley, Jr., and Heather Engle. Also, five great grandchildren, Kellcie, Alex, Sarah, Zach, and Sierra and one great-great grandchild, West.
She was predeceased by her 3 sisters, Helen, Alice and Lois.
Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Rte. 69, Prospect is in charge of arrangements.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Paradigm Healthcare Center in Prospect for their love, care and support., especially the crew in the Yankee wing.
