Elsie Hare

MIDDLEBURY - Elise Hare, 99, formerly of Middlebury, passed away October 3, 2011 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of the late Elwood Hare.

Mrs. Hare was born October 1, 1912 in Naugatuck, the daughter of the late Frederick and Ottili (Cable) Semrow. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Naugatuck.

Mrs. Hare is survived by her sons Ronald of Watertown and Donald of Hilton Head, SC; her sisters Ruth Glick of Naugatuck and Anna Luchenot of Prospect; two grandchildren Jon Hare and David Hare both of Middlebury; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements - A Graveside service will be held on Thursday October 6, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Grove Cemetery Cross Street in Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck is assisting with arrangements.
