PLANTSVILLE – Elizabeth L. Orsini, 57, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 3, 2021, at MidState Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Mark A. Orsini.
Mrs. Orsini was born March 2, 1964, in Worcester, MA, daughter of the late Leo and Theresa (Correra) Lavallee of Cheshire. Beth was a graduate of Holy Cross High School Class of 1982 in Waterbury, CT and Salve Regina University Class of 1986 in Newport, Rhode Island where she earned her degree in English/Communications.
Beth was a loving spirit who’s smile reached everyone in the room. She loved her family and friends and they loved her. Especially children. She was the owner of Giggle Garden, a daycare center in Hamden where she was affectionately known as “Miss Beth” and took care of many others as a beloved nanny in Cheshire. Beth loved the water. With a beach chair, umbrella, and book, she found great peace and comfort in listening to the ocean waves all day.
Beth enjoyed cooking and home improvement shows, Hallmark Christmas movies and looking for a new series to binge watch with her husband, Mark. She loved her two beautiful little dogs RayRay and Coco, who were always by her side.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Orsini is survived by her brother, Leo Lavallee of Cheshire, and her sister, Jeannine Lavallee and her husband Nelson Algarin of Cheshire. She will also be missed by her nieces, Maria Lavallee and Chloe Flanagan, and her nephews, Michael Lavallee and Ryan Flanagan.
Arrangements – Visitation will be held on Friday May 7, 2021, at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. from 9:30 A.M. until the start of her memorial service at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Beth’s name, may be made to Smilow Cancer Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
