Elizabeth J. Uliano, age 95, of Cheshire entered into rest on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Elim Park Health Care Center. She was the devoted wife of the late Peter Anthony Uliano until his passing in 1983. Elizabeth was born on October 6, 1926 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late John and Loretta (Brady) Kronenberg.
Elizabeth was born and raised in Bridgeport and started her own family with Peter there, before moving to Monroe and eventually to Cheshire in 1988. She was known for her work ethic both at work and home, working for several manufacturing companies, including Bridgeport Brass and Singer Manufacturing, while caring for her parents and siblings. Elizabeth was a very religious woman and watched daily Mass on her television when could not attend, and was an avid reader. During her years in Cheshire, she enjoyed time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth is the beloved mother of James Uliano and his wife, Theresa of Oxford and Peter Uliano of Cheshire. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Shawn Stanziale and his wife, Brooke of Cheshire; Justin Stanziale of Cheshire; Emily Warner and her husband, James of Madison; and Mark Uliano and his wife, Tracee of Milford; her cherished great-grandchildren, Neve and Troy; Mason and Jacquelynn; Tristan, Sterling and Quinn; and Tyson and Adelyn; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Gail Stanziale; son-in-law, Dana Stanziale; and her 10 siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 10AM in St. Bridget of Sweden Parish-St. Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire, CT 06410. Family and friends are invited to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull, CT 06611. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bridget of Sweden Parish. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting her family with the arrangements.
