Elizabeth 'Betty' Larson
WATERBURY- Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Larson, Age 85, of Waterbury, CT passed away peacefully at home on November 29, 2011, after a brief illness.
Betty was born in Cheshire, Connecticut on June 10, 1926, to Andrew and Jane Peugeot Larson (deceased).
She is survived by several first cousins who live out of state as well as her dear friend Evelyn Baker.
Betty enjoyed eating breakfast and seeing her friends at the Short Acre Diner in Wolcott. She loved her cat Bijou. Betty worked as a draftsperson in the fastener industry and was the first female draftsperson in Waterbury.
She was a very selfless and compassionate person and was the primary caregiver for her mother, two uncles, and a neighbor, all of whom are deceased. She was admired and respected by all those who knew her.
ARRANGEMENTS- Burial will be in the Peugeot family plot in St. Peter's Cemetery in Cheshire. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 2, 2011. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410 is in charge of the arrangements.
