WATERBURY- Eleanor M. Covill, 100, passed away Monday December 10, 2012 at the Watertown Convalarium.
She was born October 2, 1912 in New York, NY daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Vogt) Martinitz.
Eleanor was an Information Technician at Prentice Hall Publishing Company prior to her retirement.
She is survived by a son Edward F. and his wife Penny L. Covill of Watertown; and her beloved granddaughter Cassandra of Oakville. Eleanor was predeceased by two brothers Frank and Arthur Martinitz.
Arrangements- A Mass of Christian Burial for Eleanor will be held 9 A.M Wednesday December 12, 2012 at St. John's Evangelist Church, 574 Main Street, Watertown, 06795. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Cemetery of Gate of Heaven, 10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532. There are no calling hours. Donations in her name may be made to Alzheimer's Association CT Chapter, 2075 Silas Deane Hwy, Suite 100 Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
