Eilish B. Barbuto

Naugatuck - Eilish Barbuto, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on March 17, 2025. She was the wife of Edward Barbuto.

Mrs. Barbuto was born July 28, 1961, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Francis and Helen (St. John) Burns. A lifetime resident of Naugatuck, CT, Eilish is survived by her loving husband; her two children, Heather Barbuto and Edward Barbuto Jr.; her two cherished grandchildren; her sister, Kathleen Lahey; her brother, Patrick Burns; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Eilish will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the lives of those she touched.

Arrangements - A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 12 noon at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Naugatuck. Friends are asked to meet directly at church and there are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 280285, East Hartford, CT 06128-0285.
