CHESHIRE- Eileen F. Spies, 76, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022 surrounded by her family at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert W.Spies.
Eileen was born July 16, 1945, in New Haven, CT., daughter of the late Thomas J. and Grace A. (Snyder) Enright. Eileen also enjoyed spending time with her friends shopping and going out for lunch.
Mrs. Spies leaves behind a daughter in Cheshire, Meredith Albrecht with her husband, Claus, who says of Eileen, “She made me feel more like a son than a son-in-law.” Eileen is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Stella Spies, of Conshohocken, PA. She will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Lucas Robert and Spencer Marco Albrecht. In addition to her husband and parents, Eileen was predeceased by her sister, Grace M. (Enright) McLeod.
