Edwin 'Moose' Williams

WALLINGFORD- Edwin "Moose" Smith Williams, 79, passed away Monday July 23, 2012 at Skyview Nursing Home in Wallingford. He was the husband of June (Seddon) Williams.

Moose was born July 19, 1933 in Canastota, NY son of the late Edwin Marshall and Electa (Smith) Williams.

He served in the United States Navy, and was a Technician at I.B.M. prior to his retirement.

Moose was a "Lifetime" member of the Cheshire Fire Department.

Besides his wife he is survived by two sons Doug and his wife Joyce A. Williams of Meriden, Dale and his wife Karen Sue Williams of Wallingford; and daughter Lynn and her husband Greg York of Wallingford; and six grandsons.

Arrangements- A funeral service for Moose will be held on Saturday, August 11th, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410. Burial will follow in Hamden Plains Cemetery, Circular Ave, Hamden. There are no calling hours. Donations in his name may be made to the Cheshire Fire Department, 250 Maple Avenue Cheshire, CT 06410.
