Edith Barbash

NAUGATUCK - Edith C. Barbash, 94, passed away Tuesday September 3, 2013 at Shady Knoll Health Center in Seymour. She was the wife of the late Michael Barbash.

Mrs. Barbash was born January 6, 1919 in New Haven the daughter of the late Charles F. and Margaret E. (Ebel) Beckert. She was a Naugatuck resident have previously resided in Bethany and Beacon Falls.

Mrs. Barbash is survived by her son Michael D. Barbash of Oxford; her daughters Elaine Hamlin of GA and Debra Kerski of Naugatuck; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Arrangements - A graveside service will be held on Monday September 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. at North West Cemetery in Woodbridge. There are no calling hours and memorial contributions may be made to an organization of the donor's choice. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is assisting with arrangements.
