Deryl Dunnuck
Naugatuck, CT Deryl G. Dunnuck, 91, the husband of Ann (Velich) Dunnuck, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Wolcott View Manor.
Deryl was born on April 19, 1925 in Indianapolis, IN the son of the late Robert and Ilva (Detweiler) Dunnuck. Deryl worked as a service manager for Remington Rand and as the warehouse manager for Perkin Elmer in Danbury, CT before his retirement. Deryl was a proud World War II, United States Army Veteran. He was stationed in the Philippines during the war.
In addition to his wife Ann, Deryl is survived by his son and daughter in law, Robert and Luann Dunnuck; his daughter, Cheryl Newland; his 5 grandchildren and his 7 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 20, 2017 at 6pm at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. Burial will be in the CT State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers and to honor Deryl’s memory, contributions can be made to the First Assembly of God Church, 1263 Thomaston Avenue, Waterbury, CT 06704.
