CHESHIRE- Duilio “Chub” Bianchini, 89, passed away, Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Elim Park Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was the widower of the late Dorothy Bianchini whom he was married to for 54 years.

Duilio was born August 4, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY son to the late Duilio and Jennie Bianchini.

His retirement years were quiet, enjoying time with his family and taking care of the family home on Sperry Road. He was employed as an Inspector at Pratt and Whitney for many years prior to his retirement. He proudly and honorably served his Country in the U.S. Navy as a Radioman during the Korean War conflict.

Duilio is survived by his daughters Jennie and husband Frank Rizzo, Bonnie and husband James Seevers, Debra Bianchini, and Penny Bianchini; grandchildren Rachel and Nicole Rizzo, Heather (Seevers) Specht and Jolie (Seevers) Dobyns; five great grandchildren; and his beloved niece Janice Colella. He was predeceased by his Uncle Giacchino and Aunt Zenaide (Bianchini) Morini who raised him after the early passing of his parents; and close cousins Josephine (Morini) Colella, Virgilio Morini and Ada (Morini) Rosa who were like siblings to him.

A special thank you to the Nurses and Staff at Elim Park for taking care of and being there for Chub. He and his family are forever grateful.

A private graveside service with military service recognition will be held at a later date. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
