CHESHIRE - Douglas W. Prince, 50, passed away at his home on Sunday July 4, 2010.
Douglas was born November 23, 1959 in Waterbury, the son of Daniel W. Prince of Cheshire and Georgeanne (Hemingway) Kupau of West Suffield. He was a longtime Cheshire resident who loved playing guitar, singing and fishing. He was the owner and operator of Above All Tree Company.
Besides his mother and father, Douglas is survived by his step-mother Helen with whom he made his home; his daughter Jinda Prince of Cheshire; his sister Suzanne Reiter of San Francisco, CA.
Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 10, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Southington. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS, 66675-8517.
