MERIDEN - Dorothy Perrin, 83, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was the wife of the late Carl Perrin.
Mrs. Perrin was born October 23, 1931 in Hartford, the daughter of the late John and Winifred (Johnston) Kerr. She was a longtime Cheshire resident before moving to Meriden. During her years in Cheshire she was a member of the First Congregational Church where she belonged to the Colonizers. She enjoyed traveling to Cape Cod as well as playing the piano and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters Susan Henry and her husband John and Carla Erwin; her sister Joan Kerr-Romeo; her five grandchildren, Sarah Warzycha, Christopher Henry, Heather Erwin, Shannon and Keith Perrin and four great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sons, Mark and Scott Perrin.
Arrangements - A graveside service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Cheshire Hillside Cemetery, 166 Wallingford Road, Cheshire and there are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
