CHESHIRE - Dorothy (Michalec) Bianchini, age 86, entered into rest on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Hartford Hospital with her loving daughter Debra by her side. She was the devoted wife of Duilio Bianchini for over 54 years. Dorothy was born on May 13, 1932 in Pittston, PA, daughter of the late Philip and Helen (Petriga) Michalec, and was a Waterbury resident before coming to Cheshire in 1964.

Dorothy worked for Marshalls before her retirement. Her contagious smile and entertaining sense of humor led her to connect with many people in the community. She enjoyed visiting with friends, cooking, and was fond of Michael Bublé’s music.

In addition to her husband, Duilio of Cheshire, Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Jennie Rizzo and her husband, Frank of Derby, Bonnie Seevers and her husband, James of Stewartstown, Pennsylavania, Debra Bianchini & Bren Harrison of Cheshire, and Penny Bianchini of Southington. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Nichole and Rachel Rizzo and Heather and Jolie Seevers; her niece, Janice Colella; and her dearest friends, Scott Fielden, Diane and George Smith, Lucy Wieduwilt, and Marie Pietroniro.

Friends may greet Dorothy’s family at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 So. Main Street, Cheshire, CT 06410 on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 6PM until 8PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of her family.
