CHESHIRE - Doris (Barrow) Mullaney, 83, passed away Tuesday May 25, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Frederick J. Mullaney who passed away in 2007.

Mrs. Mullaney was born December 26, 1926 in Collins, GA, the daughter of the late Fred and Kizzie (Anderson) Barrow. She was a Cheshire resident for the past 64 years and was known as a kind and loving person who brightened the lives of all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Mullaney is survived by his three daughters, Joan Anderson and her husband Jim of Cheshire, Ann Piekarski and her husband David of Cheshire, Patricia Marshall and her husband Jeff of Southbury; her grandchildren, James Anderson, Jr. and his wife Colleen, Scott Anderson, Luke Marshall, Kristen Addicks and her husband John and Jessica Marshall; her great grandsons, Gavin, Evan and Aidan Anderson; her sister-in-law Roberta Wild of Watertown and many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family. She is predeceased by her brother Warnell Barrow and her sisters Eudelle Stewart and Wilma Jarrell.

Arrangements - Funeral service will be held on Friday May 28, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 9 am until the time of the service. Mrs. Mullaney's family encourages those who are attending the services to dress in bright colors such as red and pink to celebrate her life. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church of Cheshire, 111 Church Dr., Cheshire, CT 06410.
