James Donovan

NAUGATUCK- James R. Donovan, 87, passed away peacefully at his home on August 3, 2018.
James was born in Andover, MA on August 5, 1930, a son of the late Michael and Alice (Moore) Donovan. James worked as a machinist for Glynn Manufacturing until his retirement. He was an avid Giants and Celtics Fan. He also enjoyed Western movies and loved playing cards.
James is survived by his daughter, Louise Porzio and her husband Mike; his sons, James Donovan, Jr., and Joseph Donovan and his wife Betty; his grandchildren and his great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck, CT.
