EAST HADDAM - Donna M. (LeVasseur) Hearl, age 77, of East Haddam and formerly of Waterbury, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 at Chestelm Health & Rehab Center in East Haddam.
Donna was born July 12, 1937 in Millinocket , ME the daughter of the late Donald and Stella (Ferris) LeVasseur. She was employed by Timex Corp. for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by four daughters Deborah Hearl of Southington, CT, Billie-Jean and her husband John Severi, of East Haddam, Martha LaCombe and her husband Rick of Oakville, Joy Mills and her husband Brad of Canton; her sisters Ann Hearl of Tampa, FL, and Nellie Contaldi of Plainville; her sisters/brothers-in-laws, Julie Levasseur of Las Vegas, NV, Dan Contaldi of Plainville, Vera and Joe Hearl of Waterbury; her grandchildren Kristi-Lyn, Shelby, Ricky, Tyler, Lynzee; her Great Grandchildren, Gabriel and Matthew; and a countless number of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Donna is predeceased by her Brother, Donald LeVasseur Jr.
Arrangements – A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday October 4, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main Street, Waterbury. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury is assisting with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made, in lieu of flowers to Chestelm Health and Rehab Center, P.O. Box 719, Moodus, CT 06469
