Donald Towne

Donald Towne, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Donald was born on October 27, 1953 in New Milford, CT to Alice (Matthews) Towne and the late Howard Towne, Sr.

Donald leaves behind his mother, Alice Towne; daughter, Kellie Muccino of Middlebury; son, Duane Muccino of Naugatuck; grandsons, Ryan and John of Middlebury, and a granddaughter Jordyn Avallone of Star Lake, NY; siblings, Juanita and (Tom) Keroski of Thomaston, Kevin and (Patty) Towne of Bethany, David and (Bunny) Towne of Derby, and Bill Towne; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Howard Towne, Sr.; siblings, Howard Towne, Jr., Cheryl Brooks, Darryl Towne, Dale Towne, and Kenny Towne; and his beloved Boxer, Jessie.

Donald worked in the trucking industry for many years and thoroughly enjoyed driving the big rigs. He loved dogs, especially Boxers, which he bred and showed. Donald and his sister, Cheryl, would spend hours playing Yahtzee. He was a quiet man who spent his free time playing video games and scratch off and Country music.

Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck is assisting with arrangements.
