Donald LeBel

BEACON FALLS- Mr. Donald J. LeBel, Sr., 63, of 68 Cambridge Ct., Beacon Falls, passed away Sunday morning Sept. 20, 2009 at the Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Shari (Sickola) LeBel.

Mr. LeBel was born in Waterbury, August 10, 1946, a son of the late Robert and Irene (Ladeau) LeBel and had been a resident of Beacon Falls for the past 8 years, formerly living in Waterbury. He was a 1964 graduate of Croft High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict serving with the U.S. Navy. He retired in 1997 from the U.S. Postal Service in Waterbury with over 20 years of service. He was a member of Brooklyn Post # 7790 Veterans of Foreign Wars and had been the Lead Signer for the band, Satisfaction for many years.

Besides his wife of 15 years, he leaves one son Donald J. LeBel, Jr. of Milford; one daughter, Tiffany Mitchell of Memphis, TN; one brother, Robert J. LeBel of Waterbury; one sister, Modest Williams of Fallbrook, CA; 3 grandchildren and his Pets; Abner, Daisey Mae, and Sweet Pea.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 12:30 pm at the Congregational Church of Naugatuck, Division St. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery, 203 Spring Lake Rd., Waterbury with full Military Honors. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
