Dolores D'Amico

WATERBURY – Dolores V. (Amenta) D’Amico, 91, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Apple Rehab of Watertown.  She was the wife of John J. D’Amico.

Mrs. D’Amico was born October 8, 1931, in Waterbury the daughter of the late Louis and Josephine (DeMatio) Amenta.  She was raised and educated in Waterbury, as well as being a lifetime resident of Waterbury.  Dolores was an avid animal lover.

Besides her husband 50 years, Mrs. D’Amico is survived by her niece Debra Hogestyn (Bart) of Oxford, nephews, David D’Amico (Noralie) of Beacon Falls, Jeffrey D’Amico (Michele) of Beacon Falls; her Great-Nephews Tyler and Gage Hogestyn, John M. D’Amico, Great Niece Brandi Hogestyn and her great great nephew Levi Hogestyn, along with several cousins. She was pre-deceased by her beloved brother Carmen Amenta of Waterbury
