Dolores C. Miller

On December 7, 2015, Dolores Miller passed away after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer’s & Dementia. Born on March 21, 1938 in Ozone Park New York to Louis and Mildred Sciara, she married John Miller and moved to Connecticut. Settling down in Cheshire in 1969’s, Dolores, while unable to work do to blindness, provided a loving environment for her children. Along her journey she made numerous friends, including Karen, Julia, Susie and Lorraine who were at her side till the very end. The family thanks you ladies for your compassion and friendship to our mother throughout the years.

Dolores leaves her sons; Raymond, and his wife Cheryl from Bradenton FL, Michael from Southington CT, Marty, and his wife Samantha from Plainville CT, to carry on her spirit. Dolores also leaves behind three beautiful granddaughters; Sarah, Allison and Madyson , whom she adored beyond words (and those that knew her, well, mom was never really at a loss for words). Dolores was predeceased by a son, Christopher and a Grandson, Ryan.

A special thanks to Bob, Jaime, Alicia and Melissa, from Mid-State, Pavilion D for making mom’s final days peaceful and pain free.

Arrangements – Funeral services will begin at 11 am on Friday December 11, 2015 starting at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday December 10, 2015 from 4pm and 7 pm at the funeral home.
