Diana Hills Wareing

Diana Hills Wareing, age 80, of Southington, daughter of the late Robert and Janeth (Shaw) Wareing died at MidState Medical Center in Meriden on Thursday, June 29, 2017.

Ms. Wareing was born in Hartford on April 19, 1937. She was raised in West Hartford and graduated from William H. Hall High School in 1955. She graduated from Wheelock College in 1959 and thereafter taught third grade at Ridge Road School in North Haven for three years.

Ms. Wareing was predeceased by her brother, Robert C. Wareing and is survived by her daughters, Susan S. McPartland of Cheshire; Nancy M. Douglas of Waterbury; Jennifer M. Markella and her husband, Jay of Cheshire; Elizabeth M. Czarkosky and her husband, Thomas of Southington; and by her son, Donald C. McPartland and his wife, Amy of Southington. Ms. Wareing is also survived by her grandchildren, Samantha Renee Granoth, Jennifer Lynn Granoth, Hallie Elizabeth Granoth, Katherine Anne Douglas, Connor John Douglas, Kyle Grey Douglas, Jessica Skye Markella, Jaime Crew Markella, Jorja Isles Markella, Judith Grace Markella, Jason James Markella, Thomas Michael Czarkosky, Michael Ryan Czarkosky, Alexander Joseph McPartland and Sadie Crew McPartland; and her former husband, Donald McPartland.

Services will be private and at the convenience of her family.
