Vita Devoe

Naugatuck, CT Vita M. (Cerulli) DeVoe, 61, of Naugatuck, wife of Alan DeVoe, died Tuesday at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury.
Vita was born October 6, 1953 in Stamford, CT a daughter of the late John Joseph Cerulli and Rosemarie (Sabia) Cerulli and had lived in Naugatuck for the past 34 years. Vita was a school cafeteria worker for the Borough of Naugatuck and was a former member of Sacred Heart Church in Stamford, where Vita and her husband Alan were married.
Vita is survived by her husband Alan DeVoe of Naugatuck, her son Christopher Matthew DeVoe of Port St. Lucie, FL, her daughter Allison Rene DeVoe of Gypsum, CO, and 4 nieces and nephews. Vita was predeceased by her brother Larry Cerulli.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Road. Calling hours are Monday from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue.
