Carmela Depasquale

Naugatuck - Mrs. Carmela (Labriola) DePasquale, age 92, of 172 High Street, died Monday April 19,2010 at Beacon Brook Health Care Center in Naugatuck. She was the widow of Philip D. DePasquale after 65 years of marriage.

Mrs. DePasquale was born in Naugatuck on April 6, 1918 a daughter of the late Patsy and Rosina (Famularo) Labriola. She was retired from Peter Paul in Naugatuck and was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Naugatuck. She was an avid New York Yankees and UCONN Women’s Basketball fan and enjoyed gardening and
doing crossword puzzles.

Mrs. DePasquale is survived by a son: Philip DePasquale and his wife Jill of Voorheesville, NY, a daughter: Lori Elser and her husband Dr. John Elser of Naugatuck, a brother: Dr. Gerald Labriola of Naugatuck, 4 grandchildren: Megan Berben, Jason DePasquale, Bridget Morabito and Kate Novitsky and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister: Antoinette Lee and a brother: Rocco Labriola.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday April 23, 2010 at 9 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church 318 Church St. Naugatuck. Family and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church at 8:45 a.m. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 82 Fairview Ave.
Naugatuck is in charge of arrangements.
