David F. Hall

David F. Hall, age 78, of Cheshire, CT, entered into rest on November 22, 2024 at Complete Care in Meriden. David was born on October 18, 1946 in Meriden, son of the late Stuart H. and Ann (Ferguson) Hall.

David graduated from Cheshire High School, Class of 1964, earned his bachelor’s degree at Quinnipiac University in 1970 and earned his master’s degree from Boston University in 1972. He worked at Quinnipiac University as an Administrator for over 45 years and he also was an adjunct English professor for 42 years. He was a parishioner of St. Thomas Becket Church in Cheshire.

David is survived by his son Thomas S. Hall and his wife, Irene, of Rumson, NJ; his 3 grandchildren, Charles, Isabella and Nathaniel; and his brother, Brenton Hall of Cheshire.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bridget of Sweden Parish-St. Thomas Becket Church, 435 N. Brooksvale Rd., Cheshire CT 06410 on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 10AM. Friends and family are invited to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow at Cheshire Hillside Cemetery, Wallingford Rd., Cheshire. Memorial contributions may be made to Quinnipiac University, by visiting www.qu.edu/support-quinnipiac/. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with his arrangements.
