David Bonyai

Cheshire ' David Michael Bonyai, 30, of Cheshire, passed away Friday December 24, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury.

David was born July 3, 1979 in New Haven the son of Daniel M. Bonyai and Joan (Sullivan) (Bonyai) Howland. He was a Cheshire High School graduate, Class of 1997 and a communicant of St. Bridget Church. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid musician, playing both guitar and piano.

Besides his father Daniel and his wife Carol of Branford and his mother Joan and her husband John of Cheshire, David is survived by his brother Justin Howland of Cheshire; his sister Dionna Bonyai of Branford; his maternal grandfather John Sullivan of Hamden; his paternal grandmother Jane Bonyai of FL; Several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his maternal grandmother Norma Sullivan and his paternal grandfather Donald Bonyai.

Arrangements ' Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 29, 2009 9:15 a.m. from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St., to St. Bridget Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
