CHESHIRE – David A. Euerle, 79, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the husband of the late Beverly (Hurd) Euerle.
Mr. Euerle was born September 11, 1940, in New Haven, son of the late Harvey and Eunice (Dewey) Euerle. He was a 1958 graduate of Hamden High School. Upon graduating from UCONN College of Pharmacy in 1962, he became an Air Force Officer stationed at Plattsburgh Air Force Base. He was a retired pharmacist and former owner of Stimpson’s Turnpike Pharmacy in Wallingford. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Cheshire.
In addition to his wife, David was predeceased by his son, David A. Euerle, Jr.
He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Brown, and her husband, James, and his brother, Kenneth Euerle, and his wife, Pamela. He is also survived by a daughter in law, Tricia Euerle and sister in law, Jean Hurd. He will be missed by his grandchildren, James and Owen Brown, and Sam, Sophie, Grace, and Bella Euerle. Additionally, “Uncle David” will be fondly remembered by all his nieces and nephews, including Kathryn Dombrowski and her husband Allan, and Kristen Rayball, and her husband Sean.
Dave was an avid UConn Huskies fan, family historian, and nature enthusiast. He treasured his lifelong friendships from Hamden’s Church Street School.
He will be missed and forever loved by his family.
Arrangements – A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
