WATERBURY- Darla L. Nelson, 67, passed away peacefully Saturday October 27, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital.
She was born October 29, 1944 to the late Donald and Caroline (Dethlefsen) Nelson. She was born and raised in Oxford, Connecticut. She obtained an Associate's Degree in the field of Drafting.
Darla leaves a son Steven and his wife Annette Pistarelli of Palm Bay, Fl; a daughter Amanda and her husband Gary Evon of Waterbury; a cousin Janet Wallace of Mystic, her uncle Clifford Doolittle of Montana; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Lisa Nelson, and her daughter Christine Pistarelli.
Arrangements- Funeral services for Darla will be private. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. 06710, is in charge of the arrangements.
