TINA L. CURTIS

Naugatuck, CT Tina L. Curtis, 53, of Naugatuck, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 26, 2014 in Naugatuck surrounded by her loving family.

Tina was born in Waterbury, CT a daughter of Rachel (Begin) Crary and the late Franklin D. Curtis and had lived in Naugatuck and Waterbury all of her life. Tina was a special person, who made friends and was loved wherever she went. Tina was active for many years with Special Olympics, she worked at WARC and she absolutely loved her dolls, especially Suzie Q.

Tina is survived by her best friend, her mother Rachel Crary of Naugatuck, her sister Cathy Rietchel of Florida, her sister and brother in law Louise and William Demers of Naugatuck, her brother Frank Curtis of Waterbury, her sister Wendy Curtis of Florida, her aunt Yvonne Piambino of Florida and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 10:00am at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
