Marcel Courchesne

Naugatuck-Marcel J. Courchesne, 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Christine (Lambo) Courchesne.

Marcel was born on September 15, 1933 in Pierreville Quebec Canada a son of the late Henri Courchesne and Blanche (Godon) Courchesne. He was retired from Local 33 Heat and Frost Insulators. He enjoyed bowling, NASCAR, hockey, playing cards but most of all he enjoyed life to the fullest.

He is survived by his son Robert Courchesne and three daughters, Donna Doty, Mary Jane Myers and Nancy Courchesne. He will also be missed by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife Christine he was predeceased by two sisters, Henrietta Gamlin and Aline Boucher, a brother Paul Courchesne and his step father, Leon Bertrand.

The family would like to thank the VNA Healthcare Hope Team for all their help and support during such a difficult time.

Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck is in charge of the arrangements.
