NAUGATUCK - Conrad H. Boucher, 86, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, at his home. He was married to the love of his life, Barbara Ann (Lovely)Boucher for 50 years before she predeceased him in 2014.
Conrad was born January 7, 1936, in Waterbury, the son of the late Leo and Helen (White) Boucher. He worked for many years for Connecticut Light and Power until his retirement in 1994. He was known as a hard worker and enjoyed running races while Barbara cheered him on.
In his final days he was comforted and cared for by his family; stepdaughters Robin Lovely and her husband John Palfrey of Plymouth, MA, and Debbie Lovely and her wife Carol Feiden of New Haven, CT. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Russell, Joseph, and Ronald Boucher, and sister Maryann Frenette. He was sad to be “the last one standing”.
Funeral services will be private and there are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Conrad was a true animal lover and the family requests that any memorial contributions be directed to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
