Concetta 'Connie' Daniele

Concetta “Connie” (Zarilli) Daniele, age 95, of Waterbury entered into rest at home on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. She was the devoted wife of the late Vito Daniele for over 40 years. Concetta was born on October 3, 1920 in Dobbs Ferry, NY, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Gerardi) Zarilli.

Connie was a caring and generous mother and grandmother, she loved her family above all else.

She is the beloved mother of Michael Daniele and his wife, Mary Ann of Riverview, FL; loving grandmother of Paul and his wife, Teresa (who cared for Connie in their home over the years), Krista, Michael, Marcy and her husband Brad and Amanda and her husband Ryan; great grandmother of Mackenzie, Devyn, Paul, Jr., Caitlin, Justin, April, Michael and Ashley. She is also survived by one cherished great great grandchild, Leyah; her sister, Philomina of Seattle; and several dear nieces and nephews. Connie was predeceased by her son, Frank Daniele and her sisters, Angela and Josephine.

A Graveside Service will be held for Connie on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 11AM at her family plot in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 575 W. Hillside Avenue, White Plains, NY 10603. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury has been entrusted with her arrangements. At the request of her family, memorial contributions may be made to Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care of CT, 1579 Straits Turnpike, Unit 1E, Middlebury, CT 06762.
