Clorinda Renna

Mrs. Clorinda "Gloria" (Antonacci) Renna, 90, of Waterbury passed away Wednesday March 24, 2010 at her home. She was the widow of Raymond B. Renna.

Mrs. Renna was born November 7, 1919 in Rosebank, Staten Island, New York a daughter of the late John and Rosa (Bosco) Antonacci and was a longtime Waterbury resident. She was educated in Staten Island and attended Curtis High School. She was a nursing assistant in the delivery room and the maternity department at Saint Mary's Hospital retiring in 1991 after many years of service. She was a member of the South Waterbury Seniors and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plymouth.

She leaves her daughter, Diane Hassell of Waterbury and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers Michael and Daniel Antonacci and her sister Guaidanina "Ida" Maldonado.

Funeral services for Mrs. Renna will be held Saturday March 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury 9 Holmes Avenue. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterbury. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
