NAUGATUCK- Mr. Clayton Charles Reynolds, 49, of Naugatuck, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening at his home. He was the husband of Lisa A. (Crosby) Reynolds.
Clayton was born in Cincinnati, OH, Dec.2, 1965 a son of Marie (Reynolds) St. John, and the late John St. John and had been a resident of Naugatuck since 1970, having formerly lived in Waterbury. He was a graduate of Naugatuck High School class of 1984, and was formerly an auto mechanic at Perillo’s in Waterbury for 11 years, and DeCarlo’s in Naugatuck for 3 years, later owning his own auto repair business in Waterbury. He and his wife were the proprietors of the Union St. Station Bar and Restaurant in the Union City section of Naugatuck, which they operated for the past 10 years.
He loved fishing, camping and boating and enjoyed taking cruises with his wife. He was a past President of the Prospect Gun Club, presently serving as Vice-President, and was well known in the area for putting on Game Dinners. He always enjoyed his pets and former companions, “Ruckus”, “Chaos” and “Molly” and presently enjoyed “Riot” and “Rampage” and many cats over the years.
Besides his Mother, Marie of Naugatuck and his wife of 23 years, Lisa, he leaves a sister, Michaela Gaitlin of El Paso, TX and several nieces and nephews, including, Lisa Schmidt, Jonathan Crosby, Erica Strode, Kristi Ortiz, and Stephen Caciopoli.
His funeral service will be on Wednesday Feb. 25, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
