Claire Kennedy

WATERBURY - Claire R. Kennedy, 89, passed away Saturday September 25, 2010 at the Glendale Center in Naugatuck. She was the wife of the late George Kennedy.

Mrs. Kennedy was born August 31, 1921 in New Haven, the daughter of the late James and Rena (McCarthy) Pickett. She was a Crosby High School graduate and a longtime Waterbury resident where she worked as a Teacher's Aid for the Waterbury Board of Education.

Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her daughter Beth Kennedy of Brooklyn, NY; her brother Robert Pickett of Wolcott; her grandchildren Samantha and Christopher Rees; and several beloved nieces and a nephew. She is predeceased by her brother James Pickett and her sister Renee Pickett Summa.

Arrangements - Friends are invited to join Mrs. Kennedy's family on Friday September 29, 2010 at the Mulville Funeral Home, 270 West Main St. from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
