Margaret Cirillo

Naugatuck, CT Margaret M. (Cagliostro) Cirillo, 97, widow of John Sam Cirillo, her loving husband of 57 years, died Tuesday March 12, 2024 at Waterbury Hospital.

Margaret was born in Reggio, Calabria, Italy November 24, 1926 daughter of the late Sebastiano and Maria (Recitano) Cagliostro. She lived in Naugatuck for the past 40 years, was a devout catholic and parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Margaret enjoyed trips to the beach, walking, swimming, listening to her favorite music and in her younger years, she enjoyed dancing.

Mrs. Cirillo is survived by her daughters, Deborah and Elaine and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her son, Frank Cirillo.

Graveside services and burial will be held Friday, March 15, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at All Saints Cemetery, 203 Spring Lake Road, Waterbury. There are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck has been entrusted with arrangements.
