Cheshire - Christopher (Kris) G. Eble, 49, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Hartford Hospital.
Kris was born October 5, 1974, in Waterbury, CT, the son of Bruce and Kathy Eble and Patricia (Palmer) Eble.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his daughter Felicia Seitlinger and his four legged children Baxter and Bandit; his siblings Cheryl Eble Huffman and husband Brent Huffman, John Eble II and wife Sarah Wiese, Rebecca Eble, Elizabeth Wilson and husband Shane Wilson, Amy Bernotas and husband Ricky Bernotas; and many nieces and nephews, Brannen, Jillian, Vada, Kylah, Gaige, Hayden, Beau, Juliana, Jacquelyn, Jacob and Julia; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was a self-employed driver who loved his long drives across the country with his canine companions, Baxter and Bandit. He never hesitated to stop and take in every view, always enjoying the little things in life. He was very passionate about spending time with family, especially with his daughter, nieces, and nephews, teaching and guiding them. Whether it be working on cars, riding motorcycles renovating homes, wood-working, experimenting with recipes, and the latest culinary techniques. Kris also loved spending his free time at his parents cabin in New Hampshire maintaining the land and property, taking his dogs on ATV and Kubota rides and just taking in the view.
Kris was a tough guy and sometimes quick with the tongue, but always the first person to show up with an open ear, open mind, and ready to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 2pm-4pm, at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Funeral services and committal will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in honor for his passion for animal rescue to Army's Legacy Animal Rescue & Sanctuary in his name.
