CHESHIRE – Holman D. White, 94, passed away Friday January 13, 2017 at the Curtis Home in Meriden. He was the husband of the late Charlotte V. White who passed away in 2010.
Mr. White was born September 30, 1922, in Ridgefield Park, NJ, the son of the late Holman H. and Jenny (Wright) White. He served his country in WWII in the U.S. Air Force, piloting a B-17 bomber and obtaining the rank of Lieutenant. He was a general manger in the manufacturing industry working for Parva Products as well as Geiring Metals formerly of Hamden.
Mr. White is survived by his sons Mark W. White and Blake H. White both of Cheshire; his brother and sister-in-law Bill and Carol Veneau of West Haven and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements – Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Curtis Home, 380 Crown St, Meriden, CT 06450.
