Charlotte Stelma

Charlotte K. (Ksiazak) Stelma, 84, passed away October 12, 2009 at Yale- New Haven Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Stelma.

Charlotte was born October 7, 1925 in Ansonia, CT, and was the daughter of the late Stanley and Katherine (Sobolewski) Ksiazak. She was employed at Cheshire Police Department as an Administrative Assistant prior to her retirement.

Charlotte was a communicant of St. Bridget's Church in Cheshire. She was an avid reader, and loved to garden.

Charlotte is survived by a daughter Kathleen Falcone of New Haven, a sister Wanda Baronavski of Stratford, a grandson Timothy Falcone of Gilbert, AZ, a god daughter Samantha, and many nieces and nephews, she was by predeceased a son James M. Stelma, two brothers, and three sisters.

Arrangements- A Mass of Christian Burial for Charlotte will be held Friday October 16, 2009, 10:30 A.M from The Slater Funeral Home, 242 South Main St., Cheshire, CT 06410 to St. Bridget's Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire for Mass at 11 A.M Burial will follow in St Michael's Cemetery, Silver Hill Road, Derby. Calling hours will be held the morning of the funeral 9:30 A.M until the precession leaves for Mass at 11 A.M In lieu of flowers donations in Charlotte's name may be made to The Mary Wade Home, 118 Clinton Ave, New Haven, CT 06513.
