Charles V. Spear Sr.

WATERBURY - Charles V. Spear, Sr., 84, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of Betty A. (LeClere) Spear.

Mr. Spear was born January 14, 1932 in Willsboro, NY, the son of the late Charles V. and Mable Spear. He was raised and educated in Willboro, NY before moving to CT. He was a Truck Driver for many years for Hubbard Hall Chemical of Waterbury and was a member of the New England Teamsters.

Besides his wife, Mr. Spear is survived by his children Pauline A. LeClere of Naugatuck, Mary L. LeClere of Waterbury, Nancy L. LeClere of Newtown, and Paul P. LeClere of Myrtle Beach, SC, his nieces Courtney Spear, and Rosa Vicente and her son Luis and his nephews, Michael Spear, Tim and Tom LeClere.

Arrangements - Calling hours will be held on Saturday October 15, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
