CHESHIRE - Charles F. Keeley, 62, passed away Sunday October 7, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Linda (Lombard) Keeley.
Mr. Keeley was born July 29, 1950 in Waterbury, the son of the late John and Margaret (Chipman) Keeley. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Before moving to Cheshire over 30 years ago, he was born and raised in the Waterbury area where he was a member of the Waterbury A.O. H. and the Prospect V.F.W. During his years in Cheshire he served as a Board Member of the Cheshire Hillside Cemetery Association.
Mr. Keeley is survived by his children Ryan Keeley of Wallingford, Marcy and Megan Keeley both of Cheshire; his brother James Keeley and his wife Jean; his sister Susan Grayeb and her husband Philip and the rest of Keeley family; his in-laws Louis and Marion Lombard and the entire Lombard family ; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Keeley is predeceased by his siblings John "Jack Keeley and Maryanne Little.
Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Friday October 12, 2012 9 a.m. from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire 615 S. Main St. to St. Anthony Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
