CHESHIRE- Charleen F. Dimmick, 70, passed away Monday October 18, 2010 at the Mid- State Medical Center in Meriden. She was the wife of Charles W. Dimmick.
Charleen was born January 15, 1940 in Columbia, MO daughter of the late Charles Wesley and Lucille (Mauzey) Fristoe.
Charleen attended the Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX where she received her master's degree. She was Assistant Registrar of Voters for the town of Cheshire prior to her retirement.
Charleen was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Cheshire; she was a piano player for services at the Highland Health Care Center, a member of The Cheshire Grange, Secretary for New Haven County Pomona Grange, and a former member of The Cheshire Energy Commission.
Charleen is survived by two sons Byron Wesley Dimmick of Providence, RI, and Edward A. Dimmick of Norwich; a brother Thomas Fristoe of California; and a niece Danielle Fristoe of California. She was predeceased by a brother Charles Wesley Fristoe Jr.
Arrangements- A Memorial Service for Charleen will be held Saturday, October 30, 2010 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 59 Main St., Cheshire at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.
