Catherine Margaret Logue, 79, died March 27, 2021, after a short illness, at The Summit at Plantsville, where she was a resident for several years. She was the daughter of the late Michael Joseph Logue of Kellysburg, PA (10 siblings), and Catherine Dunne Logue of Madison, NJ (8 siblings).
She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1941 after which she and her family moved to New Haven CT, where she started school at St. Vincent’s Elementary School. When Catherine was 8 years old, the family moved to Cheshire, where she attended Chapman Elementary then moved to and graduated from Cheshire High School in 1961.
Catherine was employed at The Wallace Silver Co. for many years. Her favorite things in life were photography, Country music, Irish music, attending many a Logue reunion at the ‘Cascade PA. Church Picnic’, trips to Madison, NJ, visiting with the Dunne side of the family, and hot tea and mint jelly peanut butter sandwiches.
Catherine is predeceased by her parents Catherine and Michael Logue, her brother Thomas Richard Logue, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is survived by her brothers Michael Joseph Logue, James Frances Logue; her sister Rita (Logue) Keyes and husband Adrian Keyes; sister-in-law Susan (Northrop) Logue; 10 nieces and nephews and 7 great-nieces and nephews.
Catherine was proud of her Irish heritage and being a proud American.
She was a faithful follower at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in Cheshire, and St. Thomas Parish in Southington.
Her family is consoled knowing that Catherine has joined her loved ones in heaven. They will miss her greatly.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, at 12 noon at St. Bridget Cemetery, Higgins Rd., Cheshire. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
